Package Project 2011: Sydney >> Johannesburg

14 Dec

This year I took part in the wonderful Package Project run by Nadia from Cupcake Couture. You are given a Package Project Partner (that’s a lot of P’s) in another city or country and you exchange gifts with this lovely stranger. My partner was Lauren Sykes all the way from Sydney, Australia. Lauren has a beautiful blog called Mitsu and Me and when I found out that Mitsu was her cat, I knew we were off to a good start. (I actually think Mitsu and my cat Akira should do a package swap, but that’s a whole ‘nother post). Have a look at her blog http://mitsuandme.tumblr.com/

This morning I received my beautiful package filled with lovely things, each with a little story about where in Sydney it was bought or how it was made. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner, thanks so much Nadia for helping me relive my days of pen pals and the joy of receiving a package covered in postage stamps from a far away land.

Tomorrow I’ll give you a peek at the package I sent Lauren.

Thanks Lauren!
