Olivia Villet is a children’s book illustrator who has recently returned back to South Africa after living and working in the UK for 10 years. Her first book, Chester’s Big Surprise, was published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books in 2001. Since then she has worked with HarperCollins, Readers Digest USA and The Chicken House amongst others. She has recently launched a range of children’s artwork and prints and takes commissions.

Olivia lives in Durban, a far cry from the cold she’s become used to and is enjoying defrosting in a beautiful part of the world with her husband, two little boys and a rather boisterous Cocker Spaniel pup named Spike.

  1. We love Olivia’s work. Her wonderful interpretation of childhood through her illustration and fabulous use of colour comes across magically.
