There’s nothing more dapper than a handsomely made tie. I know creative folk don’t really do ties, but I think it’s time we embrace the Dandy in each one of us. Yes, you do get female Dandies they’re known as quaintrelles, “a person of beautiful dress and refined speech.” Seeing that I’m writing this in my flannel pajamas I guess I’ll have to settle for refined speech, bitches.
But I digress, over to Katrin from Good Heavens:
The Good Heavens project began with a big love of cotton, fabric prints and neckties. A small team of two, Matthew is the guy that makes the magic happen while Katrin hoards fabrics.
“Inspired by our grandfathers’ sartorial inclinations we set about creating a range of cotton ties that reflects our design sensibilities. Good Heavens neckties are made from a wide selection of fabrics – from Liberty Lawn to locally popular Shweshwe. Our all-cotton limited range is proudly designed and crafted in Cape Town, South Africa and is updated continually as we source and combine new and vintage fabric.”
