I’m on a horse. Yarn bombing by IsaBeauPeep.

A horse and some street poles in Cape Town recently channeled Olivia Newton John when they were kitted out with some snazzy legwarmers thanks to Isabeau Joubert and Roule Le Roux.

For those who aren’t familiar with Yarn Bombing it’s  a type of  street art that employs colorful displays of knitted or crocheted cloth rather than paint or chalk.

We look forward to seeing more inanimate objects ‘get physical’ with a little help from Iseabeau.

  1. The best example of yarn bombing I saw was a photograph of a tree wrapped all the way up its trunk and branches with colourful stripes of crocheted wrap. I love it. And have been eyeing out the tree in my garden to determine whether I can wrap it up warmly against the weather ;-)
